Position Overview
We are seeking an exceptional virtual assistant to serve as national service personnel supporting our remote social enterprise. Our organisation is dedicated to empowering youth and women through comprehensive digital literacy programmes, creating pathways to economic independence and professional development in the digital economy.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with a distributed remote team to deliver assigned projects and tasks to deadline
Represent the founder at conferences, stakeholder meetings, and professional events with appropriate briefing and authority
Conduct research and provide analytical support for ongoing organisational initiatives, particularly related to digital literacy and empowerment programmes
Manage communications, scheduling, and correspondence on behalf of senior leadership
Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for internal and external audiences, including donors, partners, and beneficiaries
Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate project delivery and programme implementation
Monitor and respond to organisational communications across multiple platforms
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational protocols
Support content creation for digital platforms, including social media management focused on youth and women's empowerment narratives
Contribute to the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies to amplify organisational impact and reach target beneficiaries
Identify process improvements and recommend efficiency gains across workflows
Assist with grant writing/applications, reporting, and stakeholder communication as required
Execute email marketing initiatives on behalf of founder
Qualifications
Required
First class honors degree or strong upper second class honors (2:1)
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Outstanding written communication skills with demonstrated attention to detail
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst contributing effectively to team objectives
Self-starter mentality with strong initiative and proactive approach to task management
Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Advanced IT literacy and proficiency across standard software platforms (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace)
Comfortable working with AI tools and chatbots for productivity enhancement
Strong verbal communication and public speaking abilities
Confident and professional social media presence and digital communication skills
Currently residing in Accra and the duration of National service with reliable, high-speed internet connectivity at place of residence
Genuine passion for social impact work and commitment to youth and women's empowerment
Desirable
Familiarity with project management and collaborative tools (Trello, Jira, Asana, Monday.com)
Proficiency in relevant programming languages (Python, R, JavaScript, or similar)
Demonstrated research experience, including academic or professional research projects
Keen interest in research methodologies and academic publication processes, particularly in development, education, or technology sectors
Knowledge of digital marketing principles, SEO, content marketing, or paid advertising
Graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or equivalent)
Proven track record of leadership roles and volunteering experience in academic or community settings
